A former Minister of Petroleum in the country, Diezani Alison-Madueke has just denied claims by the Federal Government, and EFCC that she embezzled a huge sum of money from the country while serving as Minister.
She revealed all these and more in a tell-all interview she had with Dele Momodu, a popular media personality in the country.
She also denied the allegations that she had made some oil magnates such as Tonye Cole, Chris Aire, Kola Aluko and Igho Sanomi wealthy after having intimate relations with them. She then went on to spell it out that she was a married woman who would never engage herself in such habits.
The ex-Minister as well vehemently denied other allegations that $20 billion disappeared from the purse of the NNPC when she was serving as Minister of Petroleum. She also dared anyone who had proof to come forward to make sure of the fact that she looted money from the Nigerian Government as Minister.
She didn’t stop there as she proceeded to express her displeasure at citizens of the country who had villified her person and attacked her, even though she had made many of them rich as opposed to foreigners, which was what was obtained in the past.
She revealed that before her tenure, the petroleum industry was exclusive to foreigners with just a few Nigerians.
She, however, identified Nigerians who could do the job and proceeded to empower them.
She expressed wonder at why anyone would villify her for this, Diezani also refuted claims that she had a running battle with the then First lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, as many had thought.
She said she had nothing but respect for Mrs. Jonathan, who was the wife of her boss
She said all these as she also refuted allegations that one of her sisters was intimate with former President Goodluck Jonathan and had children with him.
