Lukman’s body twitched for a while before finally succumbing to death. Biola watched in horror as her victim’s blood spread all over the floor.
” I didn’t mean to kill him, I just wanted to…” She spluttered in trepidation.
“Biola you need to calm down, take a deep breath,” Fatima advised.
“How do you expect me to calm down, I just killed a man. Am a murderer.” Biola cried.
“You don’t have to be so hard on yourself, he was going to kill us all, you saved us,” Mohammed replied.
“This has gone way too far, you were right. I should called the police.” Fatima said as she picked up the phone and placed a call to the police.
“What have you done? I would be arrested for murder.” Biola complained.
Fatima grabbed a rag and wiped the blood on her friend’s hand with it. After that, she took the surgical knife and made sure it was covered with her fingerprint.
“Am sorry I brought this upon you, it’s my responsibility to take. When the cops come, tell them you came in this morning and found out I had broken in. I forced you to help me and killed the man.” Fatima explained.
“No, I can’t allow you to do that. They will lock you up.” Biola said and Fatima threw her a hug. Minutes after, the police came and took them all away.
Fatima sat opposite a Detective in the Interrogation room. After explaining everything to him, she thought he would let her breath but he never stopped throwing questions.
“You said you accidentally hit the man, why didn’t you take him to the hospital?” The Detective asked.
“I tried but they all wanted an accident report before they could attend to him. He would have been dead by the time I filed a report. I had to save his life.” She lied.
“So you decided to break into Miss Biola’s veterinary shop? Alright. Who was the guy you killed?” He asked.
“I don’t know, he just came in with a gun and threatened to kill us, I had to do something.” She replied.
“Did you ever try to find out who the guy you hit is or anything about his family?” He asked.
“I tried but he didn’t have anything I.D on him and by the time he woke up, he couldn’t remember anything.”
“Miss Fatima, I know you are hiding something and I want you to be sure that by the time we uncover your secret, no one is going to be able to help you.” The Detective threatened.
“I am telling the truth, you have to believe me.” She shouted.
The Detective left the room and met with his superior who was watching the Interrogation through a one-way mirror.
“We will need to do it the hard way if we are ever going to crack her.” He informed.
“I don’t think that will be necessary, we ran her fingerprint over our database. It turned out she is being wanted by the DSS in connection to terrorism. They are coming for her.”

After they lost Fatima at the hospital, Abeeb had thought she was out in the wind but a few minutes later, the CCTV they installed in her house showed her entered. He gathered his team and headed for the house but by the time they got there, she had already left. It sounded like a miracle when he was called that the police have her in custody. How they had managed to arrest her, he couldn’t tell but he swiftly called his team and together they went to the police station.
As soon as Abeeb got to the station, he was taken to see her and he watched Fatima sitting impatiently at the Interrogation room. After confirming she was the one, he signed all necessary documents and ordered his agents to take her away. He was about leaving when the police informed him about the accident victim.
He couldn’t believe his eyes when he was taken to a cell and he saw Mohammed lying on the ground.
“What! How did you manage to capture this man?” He asked the police in charge.
“He was involved in an accident, they said he lost his memory.” The man answered.
“Officer the man you have here is Abu Mohammed. One of the most wanted terrorist in this country.” He informed.
