A single drop of water may never quench your thirst. A single drop of water as insignificant as it might seen is power unto itself. Just like a tiny seed, as small as it is, it has the potency of making a forest. I will explain the efficacy of tiny drops. An Ocean, however large and deep it might seem, is a collection of tiny drops of water. A bag of rice as heavy as it might be started with just a grain of rice. A might tree with its big trunks and deep roots came from a tiny seed. The magic of great deed begins with tiny steps.
So you want to move a mountain, begin by lifting the tiny rocks at its base. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. A step in the direction that of your dreams. Whatever your goals might be, begin with tiny efforts each day and a thousand efforts will produce your goal. So show up, strive and then grow.
I remember when I wrote my first novel, I began on the 1st of January, 2016, as I wrote, it looked so cumbersome, quite challenging , totally unattainable. I began to wonder how many letters will I write to form a word and how many of these words will fill a book. The grandeur of the feat made me cringe. I imagined the hours that will be spent writing, the ache of my back and the restlessness of my feet. I felt totally discouraged. But, I drew strength in the conviction that this was my calling and I wasn’t created to stare at challenges and cringe, I was created to conquer challenges and reign. So, I persisted, everyday, I will sit and write, drop my tiny effort in the direction of my goal.
It took me six months, six months of excruciating pain, six months of mental pull, six months of back ache and emotional war. I wrote when I was happy, I wrote when I was sad. The project seemed intimidating, I would have preferred to travel to an evil forest and bring any the egg of life, I didn’t mind daring the demons and the spirit. I preferred all this to discipline of sitting and writing. Writing my first novel was the hardest test of my endurance. Yet, now, I look at it and my heart bubbles in joy. In my hand is my tiny efforts that has produced a whole piece, this joy definitely was worth the pain, it is worth the sweat and the ache. Success brings its own dividends of joy.

Create the Empire of your dreams and the key to that is in your tiny steps.
Break your goals down. Not in your brain but on paper. Write it down, imagine a brilliant engineer, who is undertaking a building project. He is tells you that he already has the plan of his project in his head, that’s the easiest recipe for failure. Plans, goals and structure should be concrete. Well outlined.
Stare at it first thing in the morning. Look at it before you sleep. Let it slip into your subconscious. Be consumed with the desire of accomplishment. That is your only reason here on earth. You add your own voice to the choirs of warriors and not be a fleeting shadow hiding in the background.
Create your strategy, how much do you make to make this year, how can you rise to the top of your class, how can you create value and hasten your promotion, which skill will promote your business or career, what habit do you have that has been hindering your growth. Self examine and understand the trails of your past journey. Then begin to create a new trail of success.
Armed with this well detailed game plan, arise and pursue them. See yourself as a warrior, in the middle of a battle field, your prize is behind the enemy’s line, you must fight and advance to reach your prize. So wield your sword, back and forth. Slay your fears, slay your head habits, slay the inner negative voice, slay your amatuerism, slay your timidity, you are a warrior and this battle field is not made of chocolate, it is made of rocks, blood and tears. Fight and advance. And soon claim your prize.
Grab that your giant goal by the neck and bring it here. Move around it and find out the chunks of parts that will be cut off first. List out tiniest effort that you can make in line with your goal. Write them down. Build a structure. A series of tiny daily, weekly and monthly efforts that will led to your goal. Keep dropping your rice grain, as small as it might be, be diligent. Be consistent. Trust your your steady motion. For if you are diligent in putting one step after another, you will soon cover a thousand miles.
